I bought this classic Japan only import in August 2008. I found it on ebay (UK), it had been standing at the bottom of the previous owner's garden for six years. Manufactured in 1984, the RZV differed from the European RD500LC by having a lighter and stiffer hand welded aluminium frame as opposed to steel. There are other differences but the frame is the main one. Keep up with the restoration via the blog feed on the right.
